The past several months, the Golden State Warriors have been the most exciting team in NBA basketball. Enthusiam has run high for the team after they upset the #1-seed Dallas Mavericks. The team then drafted Marco Bellinelli, who dominated the summer league, and then the team traded for high lottery pick Brandan Wright.

Since then, head coach Don Nelson has demanded a raise in pay. Mickael Pietrus and Sarunas Jasikevicius are looking to find a new team (I know, not huge losses). However, Gary Payton reportedly considers the Warriors a viable option for next season. Definitely not in his prime, Payton reminded me of past Warriors who made their names in the 1990s.
