Al Harrington mess ending soon?

Well, there have been a few other bloggers (including Sam Rubenstein of Slam Online) that seem thoroughly confused by our explanation of the Al Harrington trade rumors. Our advice? Wait for an official press release. The trade (with the Pacers) sounds like it is complete, and center John Edwards is also in the deal.

The USA Basketball team won their game against Slovenia and guaranteed themselves a spot in the World Championships’ “Sweet Sixteen”. A 114-95 victory extended their winning streak after a game in virtually all of the starters sat for much of the second half.

During LeBron James‘ free time, the superstar has been learning Mandarin Chinese. James has two goals: to help broaden his global personality, and to be able to talk with foreign reporters during the 2008 Olympics.

LaMarcus Aldridge is going to undergo minor surgery on his shoulder. A small ligament tear in his right shoulder is the cause of the surgery, but there’s no word yet on how how his recovery will affect his rookie season.

Meanwhile, Tony Parker will not need surgery after breaking his right index finger. Parker has to wear a splint on the finger for the next four to five weeks.
