Al Harrington returns to the Pacers

Though there aren’t many details, it has been reported by news stations in Indiana that the Indiana Pacers are about to finalize a trade for Al Harrington. The deal is rumored to also include the team’s $7.5 million trade exception, but nothing official has been announced.

Jarron Collin’s new contract with the Utah Jazz is a three-year, $7 million deal, for a player the Jazz feel is a “a true competitor who is passionate about basketball. He’s a professional, on and off the court.”

The San Antonio Spurs received some unexpected good news when they learned that neither the Nuggets or Knicks matched Spurs’ offers on Jackie Butler and Francisco Elson. Over the last several days, it has been reported that both players could be returning to their respective teams but apparently things changed, and now the Spurs have solid players at the center position.

The Sacramento Kings plan to build a new arena in the next few years, after the Maloof brothers agreed to pay over $100 million of the approximate $500 million project.

The Sixers and Raptors are having a difficult time completing the John Salmons deal, which means that Salmons may have changed his mind about playing in Toronto or the Sixers have other plans for the player.

Josh Boone may get a late start to his rookie season after tearing a muscle in his shoulder. The New Jersey Nets are now considering signing another big man to fill the rookie’s role.
